SportRoyal College Colombo beat Isipathana College 14-10 to emerge champions of the Milo Under-14 Inter-School Rugby Tournament played at the Havelock Park on Tuesday (9). In the Plate Championship final, Wesley College overcame Dharmaraja College by 7-5 in a close encounter. In a traditional rivals' encounter Nalanda College beat Ananda College by 10-5 to secure the Shield Championship. In the Cup semi-finals Royal defeated traditional rivals Trinity College by 12-0 while Isipathana overpowered St. Peter's College by 21-5 in the second qualifiers. Earlier in the quarter-finals Royal beat Dharmaraja College 14-7 while Isipathana edged out Wesley College by 5-0.
