SportAt a meeting held at the St. Thomas College (STC) Matale auditorium recently, the College's past Rugby players formed the 'Matale Old Thomians Rugby Association' (MOTRA), to uplift the sport at their alma mater. Former Matale Thomian ruggerite Manjula Jayasinghe, presently Sales Manager of GESTETNER (Ceylon) PLC, was unanimously elected MOTRA President for the period 2018-2019. Manjula captained the College Under (U)-17 Rugby team in 1996 and 1997, and the U-19 team in 1998.
