BJP and Shiv Sena corporators created a massive ruckus in Aurangabad after two AIMIM members refused to stand up when the national song, Vande Mataram, was played during a meeting of Aurangabad Municipal Corporation. Though nobody was injured in the fight, a few microphones were damaged. The two AIMIM corporators have since then been suspended by the mayor. AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi had earlier termed the compulsion of singing Vande Mataram as unconstitutional.
