The Portugal international has emerged as a transfer target for the Gunners with Mikel Arteta eager to strengthen his options in the middle of the park. The Sunday Times claim Arsenal have ‘begun work’ to bring the midfielder to north London and are hopeful of agreeing a deal for around £34m. The Sun meanwhile claim Wolves are ready to listen to offers for both Neves and his countryman Joao Moutinho, with their Chinese owners eager to raise funds needed to rebuild the squad. Reports also claim that Arsenal remain interested in Brighton midfielder Yves Bissouma, who has already asked to leave the club.
