A mobile phone theft has turned into a blackmail nightmare for a Gurgaon resident. His phone also had some photos and videos of personal nature, Gurgaon police said. However, with no other place to go, he finally filed a complaint with the Gurgaon police on Monday. Singh said they’re trying to find the culprits and have formed some teams to be sent to the place where the phone was stolen. An FIR in this regard has been registered under sections 379 (theft) and 384 (extortion) of the Indian Penal Code.
