The royal tour of British Columbia continued today as Prince William and Kate arrived in Vancouver by float plane just before 11 a.m. for a public appearance at Jack Poole Plaza. Kate makes time to receive a stuffed polar bear from a fan. The royal couple then will visit the Immigrant Services Society of B.C. The $24.5-million facility offers English-language classes, housing, employment and settlement programs for newly arrived immigrants and refugees. Later, at the Telus Gardens, William and Kate will take part in a reception where they will meet young Canadians making a difference in their communities.
