There has been speculation for several months that she would be one of the 600 to receive an invitation but on Sunday this line appeared in a British newspaper: " The Mail on Sunday understands the in-crowd includes former Miss World-turned-Bollywood-actress Priyanka Chopra, a close friend of the bride-to-be." Priyanka will be considered virtually India's representative at the wedding if she does finally make the cut. There have been three Instagram photographs of the two together - all posted by Priyanka and all pre-royal engagement. While Meghan, a year older than Priyanka at 36, has been in the legal drama Suits, the Indian actress has played Alex Parrish in the ABC thriller series Quantico.
