The successful humanitarian operation launched by King Mohammed VI to alleviate the sufferings of the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip and Al Quds, reeling under inhuman Israeli siege, made the headlines of international media. Forty tons of foodstuffs and basic products were sent on Tuesday to Palestinians upon the instructions of King Mohammed VI, chairman of Al Quds Committee. A large part of the aid sent to Palestinian babies and young children was paid by the King’s own money. Since the beginning of the armed hostilities over five months ago, Morocco has been the first country to transport humanitarian aid by land to deliver it directly to the beneficiaries. Humanitarian aid is arriving in Gaza for the first time in about five months by land, the media emphasized.
