Queen Elizabeth II had to miss her own birthday celebrations this year due to the coronavirus lockdown. The Queen usually spends her own birthday, April 21, privately, before attending the official celebration, called Trooping the Colour. The Queen will, however, be honouring the birthdays of two members of the Royal Family this weekend. The Duchess of Gloucester will turn 74 on June 20, and her ongoing work has been highlighted by the Royal Family in light of her birthday. The Duchess – wife of the Queen’s cousin The Duke of Gloucester – is a full time working member of the Royal Family.
