BANGKOK (Bernama): The Thai Raksa Chart political party has abruptly cancelled an election campaign event, earlier scheduled to be held Saturday (Feb 9) evening, after a Royal Command forbade Princess Ubolratana from running as a sole prime minister candidate under the party umbrella, Thai News Agency (TNA) reported. The party told journalists that its key members including leader Lieutenant Preechapol Pongpanich and Nuttawut Saikuar, chairman of the election campaign, have cancelled plans to launch the election campaign at a Chinese association in Bangkok's Sathorn area this evening.
