The Royal Borough has been re-accredited with a national recognition award for its support for serving personnel, reservists, veterans and their families. The Ministry of Defence’s Employer Recognition Scheme recognises organisations that support members of the armed forces in the community. The council has been re-accredited with the Armed Forces Employer Recognition Scheme Gold Award, which is given to organisations that have demonstrated ‘exemplar levels of support’.
