The Royal Borough mayor was among around two hundred people of all backgrounds – religious or otherwise – at an Eid al-Adha celebration on Sunday. An Eid in Windsor Park was hosted by the Windsor Muslim Association (WMA) in collaboration with the Darul Arqam Academy for all to enjoy the festivities in Dedworth Manor Park. Royal Borough mayor Cllr Simon Bond then gave an Eid greetings message to all those celebrating in the Royal Borough and beyond. The Royal Borough’s deputy mayor Cllr Mandy Brar also attended the event and mingled with guests. From the Royal Borough councillors Amy Tisi and Helen Price also came to join in the festivities.
