Royal Ascot Golf Club has been named one of the top clubs in the country at the recent England Golf Awards. The England Golf Club awards were held at Manchester’s Midland Hotel last week, and staff from the club travelled up for a gala dinner to mark the centenary of the founding of the England Golf Union. Stephen Nicholson, general manager of Royal Ascot Golf Club, said: “While naturally disappointed to not clinch the top prize, it is still a remarkable achievement to be named as one of the top clubs in the country.
