The assault happened at around 11.50pm on Saturday June 12 on the corner of Princess Street and Canal Street outside the New Union Hotel & Showbar in the Manchester's Gay Village. Bystanders gasp as the raucous reveller strikes the female bouncer during an argument with the doormen. At the start of the video, the man can be heard verbally abusing multiple security employees outside the bar. The incident followed unrelated yet shocking scenes at Southend seafront - where a 10-man brawl and saw deckchair after deckchair thrown as tempers boiled over on one of the hottest days of the year.
