Rotorua Museum to close for up to two years for repairs

Rotorua Lakes Council chief financial officer Thomas Colle said the Category One heritage building would be closed for at least two years. The engineers rating of the building, which had been expected in April, was now likely to be ready in June. Mr Colle said it would take another six months to go through the design options for the repair.
