Rotary International District 9212, which governs Rotary clubs in Ethiopia, Kenya, South Sudan and Eritrea, is set to hold its largest fundraising event entitled the Imagine Rotary Art Exhibition with the aim of supporting the End Polio for Good campaign. The painting was been gifted to the District to support in the fundraising efforts of Rotary International’s polio eradication final campaign. As part of the campaign, the District will award special recognitions to purchases starting from bronze purchase (USD 250), silver purchase (USD 500), gold purchase (USD 1000) and Platinum Purchase (USD 1500) in contributions to this global cause. Rotary has been working to eradicate polio for more than 35 years spending over 2.1 billion USD in projects. As a founding partner of the Global Polio Eradication Initiative, we’ve reduced polio cases by 99.9% since our first project to vaccinate children in the Philippines in 1979.
