Ireland head coach has called up uncapped duo Ross Byrne and Tadhg Beirne for the three-game tour to Australia this June. Leinster outhalf Byrne and incoming Munster second row Beirne were named in the 32-man Ireland squad for the tour by Schmidt this afternoon. AdvertisementCommenting on the selection, Schmidt said: “This has probably been the most difficult selection process for the coaching group to date. The second Test of the 2018 Tour will take place at AAMI Park on Saturday June 16. Australia hosted Ireland at this venue is 1994 with the Wallabies winning 32-18.
