Roslyn Wakari overcame a halftime deficit to claim victory in the Women’s Premier League on Saturday. Arnon Tapp’s University Seconds took the lead in the first half through an own goal, following a cross from Caitlin Toohey. Roslyn returned fired up after the break and scored almost immediately, through Emma Black. Renee Bacon was influential in the midfield and produced the assist for Roslyn’s second goal, with Kate Macbeth hammering home a superb volley. Tess Marvin scored her first hat-trick of the season and Beth Elliot and Pia Davis created chances throughout for Varsity.
