Kolkata Police while investigating a case of demonetized notes, seized a computer from the possession of one of the accused, which had two files stored – ‘Rose Valley’ and ‘Madam Rose Valley’. However, on Tuesday senior officials of ED informed that Kumar has been removed from investigating the Rose Valley Chit Fund Scam. He has been removed from investigating other cases too besides the Rose Valley Chit Fund scam. ED is of the opinion that money raised by Rose Valley was six times bigger than that raised by Saradha Chit Fund Scam. A month ago, CBI had arrested two heavy weight leaders of the Trinamool Congress – Tapas Paul and Sudip Bandyopadhyay in connection with the Rose Valley Chit Fund Scam.
