Press PhotoCAIRO – 21 February 2021: Rosatom launched Sunday the 2021 Science Festival in Cairo equally inaugurating at the Russian Cultural Center a photo exhibition portraying different nuclear power industries such as nuclear fuel and floating reactors. A speech was delivered by Rosatom Director General for the MENA Region Alexander Frankov as he presented opportunities for Egyptian students to study in Russia. Rosatom builds in Egypt's Dabaa Town - located in Matrouh Governorate - a nuclear power plant consisting of four third-generation reactors with a total capacity of 4,800 megawatts. Frankov noted that the plant will improve the quality of life in Dabaa and Matrouh in general for that the reactors are environment-friendly.
