The Christmas card design of an Isle of Lewis primary school pupil will be doing the rounds in the Scottish Parliament this year. This year’s winner was P7 pupil Rosa O’ Halloran, from Sgoil an Rubha, whose design depicts a Christmas tree in Lews Castle grounds. Earlier this week, the islands’ MSP presented a prize to Rosa, and the Christmas cards will soon be distributed featuring the winning artwork. Allan commended this year’s winning design, saying: “There were a huge number of fantastic entries this year, and it was very difficult to choose a winner.
