CALDWELL, LACONIA DAILY SUNLACONIA — Chucky Rosa, who lost two sons to drug overdoses, will give this month’s Community Partnership Talk at the Belknap County Complex on Wednesday, Feb. 28, at 6 p.m.Rosa has been working with young people struggling with addiction and assisting recovery services in the Seacoast area and is described as a dynamic speaker, addressing what parents should be looking for, according to Mike MacFadzen, director of Belknap County Restorative Justice. The talk is part of a monthly series where various speakers in recovery talk about their struggles and successes. MacFadzen said there is a different topic each month, with the featured speaker addressing that particular issue. The meetings are open to anyone who wants to attend, and he noted that Stand Up Laconia will be attending the Feb. 28 program, providing information and offering free lock boxes for medication to keep the drugs out of the wrong hands.
