He carried out a 14-month campaign of harassment STEVE PARSONS/PARory McGrath, the comedian, has admitted harassing a married woman for 14 months after she ended their five-year affair. McGrath, who starred in the BBC shows They Think It’s All Over and Three Men In A Boat, had a longstanding affair with the unnamed married broadcaster that broke down because she “began to find Mr McGrath difficult and unpleasant company”, Huntingdon magistrates’ court heard this morning. He originally denied a stalking change but admitted harassment when the charge was changed. He was sentenced to ten weeks in prison suspended for 18 months.
