He is undoubtedly the dominant force in the sport at this moment, but his next task is to extend that dominance for years to come, racking up world titles and other major successes as Hendry and O’Sullivan have done. ‘You have to make sacrifices, you have to be ruthless if you want to be at the top of any sport, not just snooker. ‘It’s not a bad life, being single and just playing sport and doing what you want when you want.
