The march started at around 8am from Tuskys in Rongai and was expected to end at the Lang’ata Police Station. A notice about the intended protest walk had been issued through the Rongai-Kiserian Residents Association. SUNDAY ACCIDENTThe protests follow the Sunday accident on Lang'ata Road involving an Ongata Rongai matatu in which four people were killed and several others injured. The protesting residents were set to lay a wreath at the exact spot where the crash occurred.
