Ronan Farrow: Well, every story I do there are these kinds of machines that spin up, where there are attempts to kind of smear and undercut reporting. And, you know, threats are very different from actual lawsuits, and they're designed to frighten and intimidate. You know, I think people should make their buying decisions accordingly and pose their tough questions of these companies accordingly. (In the book, Farrow describes seeing the same car parked outside his home multiple times.) But I do get death threats and scary signals that there are people who are not happy with my reporting and not happy with me.
