Assistant head coach Ian Foster told media, cover will come within the current squad in the United States. Romano was expected to start against Ireland on Sunday with injuries to regular starting locks Sam Whitelock and Brodie Retallick. Other options are Steven Luatua and Jerome Kaino who can move from the loose forwards into the tight five.
