The agriculture ministry said Tuesday the infected potatoes were sent to Romania’s Black Sea port of Constanta by Egypt. Laboratory evaluations affirmed they had the disorder, which can purify water and soil. The ministry stated that there is no “chemical or biological method” to expel “this receptor that was harmful,” and tainted tomatoes could have experienced an “extremely severe” economic impression if they infest water provides. It said police were also working more vigilance in guarding the European Union member from other tainted vegetables and plants. The National Statistics Institute claims 8,000 tons (7,257 metric tons) of celery have been erased from Egypt at 20 17, a sudden increase in the previous calendar year.
