Credit: Square EnixOne of the best entries in the SaGa series is finally getting the Western release it deserves with an all-new remaster. The SaGa games are an interesting spin-off from Final Fantasy and originated back on the Game Boy with The Final Fantasy Legend. Designed by Akitoshi Kawazu, what made the SaGa games different over their Final Fantasy precursors, despite the turn-based combat and other role-playing game aspects, was how open-ended they were. Considering how good a game Romancing SaGa 2 is it is sad to think it has taken this long for it to get a proper Western release but thankfully that oversight is finally being corrected. Romancing SaGa 2 Remastered is released for PS4, Vita, Switch, Xbox One and PC on December 15.
