Chelsea are set to appoint Frank Lampard as their new managerThe Derby boss is set to start his new role on Monday at Stamford Bridge. Express Sport understands Chelsea hero Lampard is set to be announced as the successor to Maurizio Sarri in the next 48 hours – just five years after leaving the club as a player. Lampard had made it clear to Derby that he wanted to go if the offer was made, and had told several of his players last week that he would be on his way out of the club. Chelsea have agreed to pay the more than £4million fee to buy Lampard and his coaching team out of their contracts at the Championship club.
