The jury in the trial of a Roma supporter accused of a joint attack on Liverpool fan Sean Cox outside Anfield has been sent out to consider its verdict. Filippo Lombardi, 21, from Rome denies inflicting grievous bodily harm on father-of-three Sean Cox. Sean CoxThe 53-year-old suffered "catastrophic injuries" when he was assaulted before the Champions League semi-final on April 24. The prosecution alleges Lombardi swung his belt towards Mr Cox as he fell and was jointly responsible for the attack. "I suggest to you it's clear from those photos that Mr Lombardi, for whatever reason, was intent on causing trouble.
