Mukta Khatun, a second-year student at Dhupguri Girls' College, continued to study despite her physical disability. "It is great that she would be honoured by the state women, child and social welfare department," he added. "...you are selected for State Award for Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities - 2017 in the category of "ROLE MODEL..." reads the letter. "It would be great if others like me continue their education, instead of sitting back at home and lamenting over physical shortcomings.
