It was reported earlier that he would be teaming up with the maker of Kuch Kuch Hota Hai. Rohit Shetty announced that he would not be working on the remake of Subhash Ghai's cult favorite Ram Lakhan. Instead Rohit Shetty dismissed it once and for all, "We are not doing it. We will have to wait and see if someone else will pick up the project or it will be shelved all together. However, as he took stage for an event for World No Tobacco Day, he made the announcement that he would work on something else and the announcement for that will come next month.
