ANDAMAN SEA: The Rohingya aid ship Nautical Aliya dropped anchor Wednesday near the Myanmar shore, some 90km south of Yangon at 10pm local time (11.30pm, Malaysian time). It is currently waiting for a Myanmar navy pilot to guide the ship from the Andaman Sea to Yangon Port on Thursday morning. The ship is expected to pick up the pilot at about 10am Rangoon time (11.30am, Malaysian time) on Thurday. It is on its way to Myanmar and Bangladesh, bearing 2,300 tonnes of air cargo for Rohingyas in the two countries.
