With the Swiss star showing no signs of slowing down, brands still clamor to align themselves with the apparently ageless Federer. The German auto brand's parent, Daimler, announced an extension today of its endorsement deal with Federer. "Roger Federer is an outstanding athlete who has shaped tennis for decades and stands for top performance. The agreement was extended in 2011 as a global deal, with Mercedes-Benz using Federer in its marketing around the world. The result: Federer’s endorsement earnings are the highest in the world among active athletes at more than $50 million a year.
