In 22 games played so far this season, Houston Rockets guard Danuel House Jr. is averaging 8.3 points and 3.6 rebounds in 23.9 minutes, and shooting 46.3% from the floor and 36.7% on his 3.6 attempts from downtown. He was handsomely rewarded by having his two-way contract converted and being signed for $596,872 using a portion of the team's mid-level exception. Unlike Clark, House is a capable three-point shooter who can also put the ball on the floor and attack closeouts. What that means is that he can only spend 45 days with the Rockets but he can't be poached by another NBA team. Given how integral House has become to the Rockets, converting his two-way contract to a a standard NBA contract is an expected inevitability.
