Directed by Dexter Fletcher, Rocketman stars Taron Egerton as Elton John following his journey from "a fat boy from nowhere" to a global icon. The trailer, set to Tiny Dancer, shows Elton writing Your Song in his living room as his mum looks on. It also hints at the wild lifestyle and 'warts 'n' all' biopic we've been promised, showing him drinking and his wild lifestyle as we hear someone warn him he will "kill himself". Richard Madden , who stars as his manager, tells him "you can be the best selling artist in America if you desire." Rocketman stars Jamie Bell as Elton John's longtime lyricist and writing partner Bernie Taupin, Madden as John Reid, and Bryce Dallas Howard as Elton's mother Sheila Farebrother.
