File photo: HTNew Delhi: A rocket landed in the Indian Embassy compound in Kabul, causing damage to building, India’s foreign ministry said on Monday, adding that all embassy staff were safe. “A rocket landed in the premises of our Embassy in Kabul a while ago causing minor damage to a structure at rear side of the Embassy compound. Our Charge d’ Affaires informs that all embassy employees are safe,” Indian foreign ministry spokesman Raveesh Kumar said in a twitter post. Indian foreign minister Sushma Swaraj in a twitter post also confirmed that all Indian diplomats and staff were safe.
