He promised that the South Korean people would rally round his leadership. Using bombs and napalm, the United States Air Force blew up and burned down virtually every population center in North Korea. North Korea, as a result, is more isolated than ever — even as it becomes a global nuclear threat. The United States has to accept the obvious: Kim Jong-un is never going to give up his missiles. Try to help the North Korean people feel as if the world is not against them.
