Rocket Lab puts an Electron rocket through its paces at its secondary launch site in Virginia. Rocket Lab has taken another step towards its first launch from United States' soil, moving an Electron rocket onto its newly-completed launch pad in Wallops, Virginia. Rocket Lab is planning to launch its first rocket from the US some time from July. The mission will be conducted for the United States Space Force and the US Defense Department's Space Test Program. Several of the satellites Rocket Lab has previously launched from New Zealand have had US defence connections and it has also launched a satellite for the Mexican military.
