A rock climbing coach was handed 80 hours of community service at Kwun Tong Magistrates' Court this afternoon after pleading guilty for causing obstruction in public places. Law Ka-lok, 24, was arrested on November 11 last year for blocking roads in Lam Tin with rubbish bins and bricks. She hoped that the defendant would cherish the chance to give back to society and that his awareness to abide by the law would be enhanced. Protesters occupied most of the road, causing traffic on the road to come to a complete halt. The police arrived at the scene and arrested Law after chasing him for approximately 150 meters.
