Imo state Governor Rochas Okorocha has called on Nigerians to begin to celebrate their leaders and people who have done well in their chosen careers when they are alive and not when they are no more. Governor Okorocha regretted that in this part of the world, people condemn their leaders while alive but celebrate them when they are dead. The Governor who made this assertion yesterday at the Armed Forces Remembrance Day Emblem Launch for 2019 at the Government House Owerri, said Nigerians should see the need to celebrate the nation’s heroes, both dead and alive since patriotism is not in the love of the law but in the love of one’s Country. The governor also said that the insurgence in the North East would have gone out of hand if not the coming of Muhammadu Buhari as the President of the Country, stressing that the President must be commended for the fight against Insurgence and his love for this Country.
