Share TweetBy Raymund AntonioThe Office of the Vice President continues to assist farmers and weavers in Kiangan, Ifugao as part of its flagship anti-poverty program, Angat Buhay, to improve the lives of poor Filipinos in terms of profitable and sustainable livelihood. Robredo, a former housing chief, met during her recent visit to Kiangan, Ifugao the bell pepper farmers, who were linked by her office to the Jollibee Group Foundation for its farmer entrepreneurship program. Kiangan is one of the 50 pilot areas that have benefited from OVP’s Angat Buhay program. Angat Buhay partners donated two-classroom building and information and technology equipment for the Duit Elementary School in the town of Kiangan.
