Let the family know you are thinking of themRobert "Bob" Earl Hoffman, of Williamsport, MD passed away rather unexpectedly on June 9, 2024 with his family at his side. Born January 20, 1955 in Mechanicsburg, PA, he was the son of the late Paul and Ruth Hoffman of Boonsboro, MD. He was a 1973 graduate of Boonsboro High School where he played football and attended Vo-Tech School for welding. He was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses in 1975 and was a member of the local congregation for 49 years where he currently was an Elder and full-time minister. In the late 1980’s he served as a volunteer at the world headquarters of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Brooklyn, NY doing what he loved, welding, as part of the renovation of the Furman Street building.
