A robbery suspect shot and killed his accomplice whilst they were busy trying to rob a resident in Ikamvelihle in Nelson Mandela Bay yesterday, July 10. They chased him, and after hitting him in the face with one of the firearms, he fled into a nearby shack. "The suspect outside, realising that he shot and killed him, then grabbed his accomplice’s fire arm and fled from the scene. The resident that fled from them was uninjured, apart from the slight wound when they pistol-whipped him," Beetge added. "The 39-year-old suspect that was killed cannot be named as his next-of-kin has not yet been informed.
