A gang broke into Kilifi Governor Amason Kingi's home in Nyali, Mombasa, on Thursday night and stole items including his laptop and TV set. Kingi said the robbers scaled his perimeter wall and broke into his main house. He said there was nothing unusual about the incident but asked police to carry out investigations to establish the motive. The Governor's security was taken away alongside that of Mombasa Governor Hassan Joho.
