more-inRobbers made an unsuccessful attempt to loot a bank at Kalamassery in the early hours of Wednesday. According to the police, unidentified men bore a hole in the wall of the Bank of India branch office near the Kalamassery Municipal Town Hall on Tuesday midnight. We suspect that by the time the robbers bore the hole and entered inside, it was morning. A police team along with a dog squad visited the branch and collected evidence. The Kalamassery Police registered a case under IPC Section 393 (Punishment for attempt to commit robbery).
