Members of a small mosque in Mississauga are worried about making their bills this month after a robber tampered with security cameras to break in and steal thousands of dollars in donations overnight. When staff arrived at the Qasim ul-Uloom Islamic Centre at 5:30 a.m. Wednesday for morning prayers, they found a chairs overturned, copies of the Qur’an dumped on the floor and donation money missing. “The mosque is a small, little mosque,” said Shoaib Yousuf, who works at the Islamic centre. “Expenses are done by the congregants. Now, we’re obviously pretty much going to be short.”Yousuf said CCTV footage shows a man breaking open a lockbox outside the mosque to get a key to the main door.
