In 1988, when Rob Lowe was just becoming a teen sensation, a sex tape featuring him and two women — one of whom was underage – was leaked to the press, leading many to assume it was the end of his fledgling career. When the tape was leaked soon after, it was found that Parsons was just 16, which Lowe claimed he was not aware of at the time. Lowe, now 55, settled a lawsuit with Parsons’ family and was never charged. “There can’t be like, ‘Oh there’s that one area that I won’t talk about.’ You can’t do that. I don’t think any of that happens without going through that scandal.”By the way, although Lowe believes he “invented” the sex tape, he “didn’t make any money off of it like everybody does now.”A true shame.
