SOME roads will be closed in Makati City on June 2 in line with the city’s celebration of its 348th Foundation Day. The stretch of Makati Avenue (from J.P. Rizal St. to Kalayaan Avenue) will be closed to traffic from 1 a.m. onwards to make way for the parade and street party to be held in the afternoon until midnight. Motorists are advised to expect heavy traffic and take the following alternate routes:those coming from Mandaluyong City and Guadalupe going to Ayala Ave. should take J.P. Rizal St. towards their destination. Vehicles going to Mandaluyong and J.P. Rizal areas should take P. Burgos St. towards destination, while those going to J.P. Rizal can take P.
